In 2023/2024 I was involved in a large-scale recording program to document the population of pine martens in a site in the Scottish highlands. The eventually aim was to translocate animals from Scotland to South Cumbria, reintroducing this lost species back into the Lake District. In september 2024 this finally happened at 12 pine martens were brought back to Cumbria. This portfolio documents that journey.
